Aleksey has worked alongside his father ever since Dr. G opened his practice in 2010. At that time, Aleksey worked the front desk, held the suction, and did door-to-door visits to help his father’s practice grow. Aleksey then went to college at the University of Kentucky and became a CPA, receiving one of the highest scores in the state on his exam. He worked as a tax consultant at Deloitte before going to law school at The University of Chicago, which ranks #3 in the nation. From there, Aleksey worked on Wall Street as an Investment Banker for the #1 firm for Private Equity deals. As Aleksey’s career progressed, so did his work with his father; Aleksey personally handled the practice’s accounting, legal, management, business strategy & optimization, marketing, and acquisitions over the years.

As the business landscape for independent dentists increasingly deteriorated, Aleksey set out to find a better way for his father to practice. The goal was to allow practices like his father’s to operate more profitably in the face of increasing costs and to ensure that doctors can retire well when the time comes. From these efforts, DentNet was born.

Bogdan Graboviy, DMD

Co-Founder

After earning his first dental diploma in 1991 from the Lviv Medical Institute of Ukraine, Dr. Bogdan Graboviy immigrated to the United States with his family in search of a better life. In the pursuit of his American Dream, Dr. G received his second dental diploma from the University of Louisville in 2006 (Dean’s List). Having worked as an Associate for several years, Dr. G opened his own practice (Parkside Family Dental) in 2010. What began as a 4 operatory practice with a handful of patients grew to a 3 location, 19 operatory, 4 doctor practice by 2021.

However, with costs skyrocketing, reimbursements stagnant, and DSOs squeezing out independent practices, something had to be done. So in collaboration with Aleksey and a dozen other doctors, Dr. G sought to create a group that he would want to be part of.  One where the DSO benefits flow to the doctors, not the MBAs and one where the doctors control patient care and practice operations. From these simple tenants, DentNet was born.
